Well we are almost half way through another year so I figure it was time to start the Christmas projects. As part of the Cards with a Difference series of workshops, I thought a Star Book would definitely fit the theme. These complicated looking cards are very easy to put together and offer a wonderful keeps sake when made as a wedding card or baby book. The possibilities are endless and can easy be turned into a mini album.
When it comes to Christmas projects I tend to shy away from the tradition colours of Red and Green and love the teal or lilac colours. I love the softness of these colours!I used one sheet of Prima Marketing North Country Icicles in this book along with Core'dinations cardstock in Cloudburst, Vienna Lake, White and French Roast.
I also stuck to the one stamp set by Stamp-It Australia which is full of Christmas quotes.
I decided to keep to the theme of Snowflakes and used a mixture of the Stampin' Up Snowflake Flurries and the Couture Creations Snowflake dies. The reindeer and some other dies are all from the Marianne Creatables collection.
I am hoping my ladies enjoy making this Star Book as much as I did. Its definitely one of those cards that are for special occasions and the special people in our lives.Till next time
Happy Crafting
