More Birthday Magic .....

I received a request from a friend for a Birthday card for her daughter.  She loves Unicorns and anything pretty.  I wanted to create something magical with lots of bling and special bits.  I decided to make a side-stepper card.  On the left side I made a magic slider so that when you put the tab, a coloured butterfly is revealed.
I used Mocha Devine and Berry Blush from the 100% recycled cardstock found at The Happy Crafter.  The Happy Birthday Sentiment was punched using the Martha Stewart Birthday punch.

The unicorns are digital stamps that I purchased from Spesch Designer Stamps and I coloured using both Copic markers.   I then used some flower soft, some kindyglitz and rhinestones.

Until next time

Magic Cards

I love making cards but I was getting such a collection I had to find a way of selling them.  So I approached the shop where I work and suddenly I had several ways of moving my cards.  Even the Social club buys my cards to give to their members.  Two weeks ago I dropped off an order and the manager said his niece had a request.  For her birthday she wanted an easel card.  Wasn't concerned on colour or theme - just had to be an easel.  So I've been racking my brain for something extra special for her and this is what a came up with - A Magical Easel card!

I created a gorgeous magic slider to attach to the front of the card.  From what I've been told despite being quite young, she really appreciates handmade cards.  So I hope she has fun as the image goes from a simple back and white picture to a coloured birthday cake!

I have used whitewash card which has been embossed with the birthday Cuttlebug Embossing folder.

I the New Year I will be making a tutorial on these!
